Ingredients: 1 packet of plain or chocolate chip pancake 1/4 tsp of baking powder 1/8 tsp of baking soda 1/2 tsp of pumpkin spice 1/4 cup of rutabaga purée 1 egg 2 tbsp of WF Maple Syrup 1 - 2 tsp grape seed oil ( oil optional ) 1/2 tsp maple or caramel extract ( optional)
In a small bowl, beat egg, add oil, beat again, add rutabaga purée, maple syrup and extract. Mix again. In a medium bowl mix choice of pancake, baking powder, baking soda, and pumpkin spice. Combine well. Mix wet into dry and combine well. Drop by heathy tablespoonfuls onto a not stick skillet over medium heat. Cook until bubbles form. Flip and cook for 1-2 minutes more. Remove from pan and enjoy with additional SF maple syrup.
