Ingredients: 1 packet of maple oatmeal 1/2 cup of rutabaga purée 1 beaten egg 2 tbsp WF Maple Syrup 1/2 tsp of pumpkin spice 1/2 tsp maple extract optional.
Method: In a small bowl beat egg, add maple syrup to egg and stir well. Now add rutabaga purée to the egg mixture with the maple extract, mixing well. In a medium bowl add maple oatmeal and pumpkin spice combining well. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until smooth. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line or use nonstick spray in a small baking dish. Pour batter into baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes. You may serve with additional spice and syrup.
