Ingredients: Beef bones with marrow 1-2 lbs 4 stalks of celery in large chunks including leaves 4-6 green onions in large pieces 2-4 whole garlic cloves Salt 1 tsp whole peppercorns , or fresh ground pepper 1-2 whole bay leaves 2-4 sprigs of fresh thyme and parsley -you may use dried - 1/2 to - tsp 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar 12 cups of water
Bring all ingredients to a boil, reduce to a low simmer and let broth cook all day or up to 48 hours. Remove from heat and strain. Broth can be kept in fridge 3-4 days or in a freezer for up to a year.
