2 cups of diced turnip
2 tsp of pumpkin pie spice
¼ cup Walden Farms Maple Syrup
1 vanilla drink or vanilla chai drink
1 cup of water
½ cup of ice
½ tsp maple extract
½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
In a medium saucepan with a lid place diced turnip in pan and cover with water. Over medium high heat simmer for 30 minutes. Remove from heat and strain water and let turnip cool.
Blend together cooled turnip, maple syrup and pumpkin pie spice, until well pureed.
Spoon into ice cube trays and freeze.
Divide into 2 equal halves and store portions in freezer, each portion will equal 1 cup of turnip.
In blender place choice of IP drink, and 1 cup of turnip ice, 1 cup of water and ½ cup of ice. Add in ½ tsp of maple extract and ½ tsp of pumpkin pie spice blending until smooth.
