2 cups of rutabaga
Peel and cube 2 cups of rutabaga. Add rutabaga and a pinch of salt to a pot of water. Cover and simmer for about 30 min, drain.
By hand or blender (immersion), blend with seasoning of choice.
Optional seasoning ideas...
* 1/4 cup of chicken broth, 2 tsp of olive oil, salt and pepper to taste
* 1 ounce of milk, 2 tsp of olive oil, 1/4 tsp of vinegar, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste
*2 tsp olive oil, 1/2 tsp fresh minced garlic
*2 tsp olive oil, 1 tbsp amazin mayo, 1 tbsp fresh dill or chives, salt and pepper to taste
